BIOGRAPHY

Anmol is committed to addressing complex and wicked global public challenges using social science and storytelling. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Delaware studying Disaster Science & Management where he strives understand government decision-making processes, criteria, and outcomes related to hurricanes, floods, and climate adaptation. His research focus entails climate and development research focused, adaptation, gender, migration, governance, and justice.

Prior to beginning his studies in Delaware, he supported United Nations unpack resilience building in Africa and World Bank develop policy solutions to climate induced migration in East and West Africa. As an author, he published his first novel The Last Dance with Speaking Tiger Publisher in 2019. His creative writing illuminates complex social issues of identity, belongingness, conflict, and displacement.
