BIOGRAPHY
Missy Trent is the Administrative Specialist for University of Delaware’s Disaster Research Center. Missy is new to the Disaster Research Center and is responsible for taking care of the Center’s daily administrative and operational tasks. Missy has been with the University of Delaware for five and a half years and loves being a Blue hen. She joined the Disaster Research Center in August of 2023, after leaving her role as Academic Support Coordinator for the Master of Science in Finance program, Department of Finance, in Lerner College. Missy enjoys spending her time away from work attending her younger daughters’ sporting events. One fun fact about Missy is that her older daughter raises puppies for the Seeing Eye, Morristown, New Jersey. She is currently raising her fifth puppy, with her first two having career changes, and are Explosive Detection Dogs!
