Biography
Caroline Wellington currently serves as Business Administrator at the Disaster Research Center. Caroline manages the administrative functions and fiscal affairs of the Center; serves as the liaison between the Center and the University; assists in the submission of grant proposals; and manages grants post-award through close-out. Caroline works with the directors to develop the Center's strategic plans, processes, and procedures and coordinates all DRC external communications, fundraising, events, and alumni engagement initiatives. She began her career at the University of Delaware in August 2012 as a graduate research assistant and has worked full-time at DRC, most recently as Outreach Specialist, since July 2014.
Caroline graduated from the University of Delaware in 2014 with a Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in Nonprofit Management. She has a B.S. in Political Science, B.S. in Metropolitan Studies, and minored in Geography at Towson University.
