Maddie Cooper is a Masters student in the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation studying Preventive Conservation. She holds bachelors degrees in Art Conservation and Chemistry from the University of Delaware. Prior to her graduate studies, Maddie worked at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and The Wolfsonian-FIU as a Conservation Technician and Collections Assistant. Her time in Miami lead her to an interest in emergency preparedness and response for cultural institutions. She is researching tools available to museums dealing with disaster recovery.
