Disaster Research: Innovating for an Imagined Disaster Future

This workshop will work to re-orient our studies of disasters in directions that take bold gambles. We invite scholars, practitioners, students, and community members to gather and think of new theories, directions, methods, and departures. The main workshop will take place May 3-4, 2024 at Clayton Hall Conference Center at the University of Delaware and include featured presentations, documentary film screenings, activities, panel sessions, discussion groups, and poster presentations. Workshop registration includes lunches and a Friday evening reception (cash bar). Pre- and post-workshop events are planned for May 2nd and May 5th. Please check the special events page on the workshop website for more information.
